Using Your Steel Battalion VT Control System with Your PC Here is some info/files to get your Steel Battalion/Teki VT Control System working on your PC. I have mapped the buttons and included configuration files and instructions. It is fairly easy to edit the configuration so it should be easy for you to re-map the buttons (if you want) in VTCHID to suit your preferences. The VT Controller driver (VTCHID) is (of course) required... get it here. (local copy here) You might want to check out the VTCHID forum. You need PPJoy. (local copy here ) You also need PPJoyJoy. (local copy here) You need an X-Box to USB cable, I am using a SmartJoy X2 USB Adapter. You will need a set of profiles, these contain instructions, configuration files, and button mappings (see below). --------------------------------------------- Current versions: These work with PPJoy v0.83 and VTCHID v0.2.1: Mechwarrior 4 (v0.5.1) (Button Mapping Diagram - included in .zip file) Added Pop-Tart variant config Changed the values used for the right controller stick (sensitivity issues) Changed documentation (slightly) Renamed some files Wrote a user's guide (included in .zip file) Made a few MP-3.02b mech variants with weapons grouped for VTCS.  NOTE: these are stock mechs, only the weapon grouping has been changed to give you a feel for weapon grouping with the VTCS. Put these in your 'Mechwarrior Mercenaries\RESOURCE\VariantsMTMP3' directory. Mechwarrior 4 (v0.5) (Button Mapping Diagram - included in .zip file)  Added Look Down/Back to POV Mechwarrior 4 (v0.4) (Button Mapping Diagram - included in .zip file) POV works correctly (well for me at least) new button naming in VTCHID works with Vengeance, Black Knight, and Mercenaries. Mechwarrior 3 (v0.1) (Button Mapping Diagram - inclided in zip file) For MW3 and Pirate's Moon. Comming Soon!!! Freespace 2 (v0.2)  (Button Mapping Diagram - included in zip file) POV may need to be mapped in Freespace. Enable compatibility mode: right click the program.exe (or the MW3 shortcut) and select 'properties'->'compatibility' and turn on compatibiility mode (try 'Win98' first and if it doesn't work try 'Win95'), and click 'OK'. Another site suggested you finish the tutorial mission(s) the game will not crash in campaign mode anymore. Yet another suggested fix is to remove .net stuff and MW3 will work. No Sound Comming Soon!
